Dr Chris Harmston
Director and Scientific Lead
Dr Chris Harmston is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon based in Te Tai Tokerau and an Honorary Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Auckland.
He plays a vital role in the running of SurgTrials in New Zealand.
Kayley King
Network Manager
Kayley King is the Site Manager for Aotearoa Clinical Trials in Whangārei, leading the operational delivery of commercial and investigator-initiated trials. She collaborates with key stakeholders to expand surgical trial networks, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and best practices. With expertise in trial feasibility, site setup, and regulatory adherence, Kayley is dedicated to advancing clinical research in Aotearoa.
